About Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy is an IT professional, Chicago resident, and community-focused problem solver seeking to represent Chicago’s 37th Ward.

Michael believes city government should be transparent, responsible, and focused on results.

His background in information technology and systems management has taught him the importance of accountability, efficiency, and solving problems before they become larger.

Michael is bringing that same practical approach to local government. He wants to work directly with residents, neighborhood organizations, businesses, and community leaders to address the everyday challenges facing the 37th Ward.

Focused on the 37th Ward

Michael’s priorities include expanding housing opportunities, supporting neighborhood schools, encouraging local businesses, protecting individual rights, and demanding responsible use of taxpayer dollars.

He believes residents should have an alderman who is accessible, listens to their concerns, and clearly explains decisions made at City Hall.

Fighting for Better Government

Michael believes better government starts with people who are willing to stay involved, ask difficult questions, and keep pushing for improvement.

He continues to advocate for greater transparency, stronger accountability, responsible spending, and government that works for the people it serves.

His goal is simple: put the 37th Ward first and help build safer, stronger, and more prosperous neighborhoods.

Michael is currently petitioning for Chicago’s 37th Ward. More information about the campaign, local proposals, and opportunities to get involved will be added as the campaign develops.
